Lunatique partnered with 12Signs to define their mission, vision, and brand voice, emphasizing innovation and accessibility in the realm of Tarot and Astrology. The project encompassed comprehensive brand identity and website design services, including:
Brand Identity Development:
Words that describe the brand: Friendly, easy-to-use, playful, accessible, modern twist of mysticism.
Crafted a distinctive logotype and logo mark that embodies the essence of 12Signs' modern mysticism.
Developed a vibrant color palette inspired by mystical elements:
Wizard Purple (#40104A), Amethyst Plum (#986995), Dark Apricot (#C7807A), Pumpkin Orange (#FF7000), Midnight Black (#181818), Newspaper Grey (#F8F7F3), Pure White (#FFFFFF).
Selected typography to merge medieval aesthetics with contemporary usability:
Larken (confident serif) for headings and subtitles, conveying wisdom and connection to nature.
Spectral (versatile serif) for paragraphs, ensuring clarity and elegance in content delivery.
Illustrations:
Designed custom illustrations including the 12 zodiac signs and 78 Tarot cards, pivotal to 12Signs' offerings.
Utilized a playful yet informative style, blending flat design with textured backgrounds to maintain a modern mystic appeal.
Characters portrayed with quirky simplicity, featuring small heads and expressive, whimsical bodies.
