KdT Ventures

KdT Ventures is a frontier science VC fund backing founders who are engineering the future at its deepest layer. Their site needed to match the weight of that mission: atmospheric, precise, and built to scale as their portfolio grows.

I handled the full Framer build, animations, and interactions while Fuzzco led branding, design, and copywriting.

Framer doesn't support negative margins, but the design called for overlapping cards and negative-margin layouts throughout the site. I had to engineer creative workarounds to achieve those layered compositions without breaking responsiveness.

The portfolio section was the biggest architecture challenge. KdT's companies appear in 3 different places across the site, each filtered differently. All 3 views pull from the same CMS collection, so I had to build a filtering system flexible enough to serve each section's unique logic from a single source of truth.

On the portfolio detail page, each company expands to show more info. Getting the auto-collapse behavior right (where opening one company closes the previous) was a smaller but satisfying solve.

The result is a site that feels as considered as the science KdT invests in.
