There was a significant opportunity to enhance the team's velocity, as elements were being designed and coded from scratch each time, leading to inconsistencies in the product's user interface and a subpar user experience. The repetitiveness of the work also dampened enthusiasm for both designers and engineers, impeding collaboration.
