One week from kickoff to handoff. Connor runs new initiatives at Wayground, a learning company. He saw an opportunity to help life sciences reps talk to physicians, where getting it wrong wasn't an option. Utilizing their technology, he co-founder Skillet: an AI roleplay, manager coaching, and call prep for life sciences commercial teams. He had a go-to-market date. What he didn't have was a brand. He'd already spent weeks with an offshore design team that delivered hundreds of options and not a single clear vision. That's when Connor hired us.

Brand Sprint: Working with Studio Malt, we ran it as a sprint. A handful of distinct brand worlds to solve the problem, each shown in real-world applications to provide clear directions. Connor picked a direction, gave one round of notes, and moved forward. That pace only works if the client is decisive and trusting, and if the design is right the first time.
The Mark: Skillet's symbol is derived from the "k" in the wordmark, pulled out of a customized semi-condensed serif, and abstracted into two skillet shapes. Once rotated, the two skillet shapes double as speech bubbles conveying the roleplay concept. Read together, they twist into a helix that resolves into an "S" a signature that's distinctly Skillet.
The Handoff: One week from kickoff to handoff. The system went straight to Connor's web team, who built the site in Framer. Skillet came out of stealth in weeks (not months) with a top-20 global pharmaceutical company and a Fortune 500 medical technology company already using the product.
