During the discovery phase of the design process, we began by analyzing interviews with potential users to gather insights into their needs and preferences. This qualitative data was then organized through affinity mapping, allowing us to identify common themes and pain points across different user experiences. From this analysis, we created a detailed user persona that encapsulated the characteristics, goals, and behaviors of our typical user, serving as a reference throughout the design journey. Additionally, empathy mapping was employed to understand the user's emotional landscape, helping us understand their feelings, thoughts, and motivations in relation to our product, ensuring that our design decisions were grounded in genuine user empathy.
