Logo Design For Horizon Technologies

In this passion project, I aimed to create a visual identity that captures the essence and values of a company called Horizon Technologies, a tech/engineering startup that aimed to compete with the likes of Sony, LG, Samsung, etc. in manufacturing everyday appliances and gadgets.

To develop a modern and memorable logo that resonated with the target audience and communicates strength quality and trust.

As the sole designer on this project, I conceptualized, designed, and iteratively refined the logo to ensure it met the project's objectives. I handled all aspects of the design process, from initial brainstorming to final execution.

Research and Inspiration: Conducted thorough research on industry trends, competitor logos, and gathered inspiration to inform the design direction.

Conceptualization: Developed multiple design concepts, considering color psychology, typography, and symbolism relevant to the project's theme.

Feedback and Iteration: Solicited feedback from peers and stakeholders, leading to several iterations to fine-tune and enhance the chosen concept.

Finalization: Executed the final design, ensuring scalability, versatility, and alignment with the project's goals.

The final logo for Horizon Technologies successfully achieved a modern looking design that conveyed a sense of strength innovation and quality. The project has received positive feedback from peers and colleagues also in the design industry as well as some potential users.

I plan to continue refining and expanding this project, exploring additional applications such as designing a brand pattern to add to the overall branding, designing of a website and a mobile application.
