The WTA Finals —former WTA Championships— wraps up the season for top-ranked players, standing as the fifth most prestigious event after the Grand Slam majors (Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open). For the second year running, Madrid hosted the tournament, and Sony Ericsson entrusted us with the task of spotlighting women's tennis in a country where soccer is king.

The weekend before the competition, Sevilla FC was facing Real Madrid in the title race, and we seized the opportunity to engage sports fans with a spectacle worth remembering. During halftime, a team of 140 people deployed a massive 200 kg billboard in under two minutes, transforming the pitch into a 150 sqm tennis court. It was here that world #3 Jelena Jankovic challenged legendary captain #24 Pablo Alfaro in front of 50,000 spectators, setting a new world record for attendance at a tennis match.
