Ashopliving: Building a Home Decor Brand Worth Following Full-service social strategy and content production for a UAE-based premium home decor label.
Project Overview Ashop.ae is a UAE-based home decor brand offering a thoughtfully curated collection of pieces for the modern home, from statement furniture to the smaller details that pull a space together. While the product line was strong and the in-store experience felt elevated, their social presence wasn't carrying the same weight online. I came on as their full-service social media partner, owning strategy, content production, and day-to-day execution.
The Challenge Ashop had everything a strong brand needs: distinctive products, a clear in-store aesthetic, and a growing customer base. What was missing was a digital identity that translated any of that to social. Posts were inconsistent in tone and visual style, video content was sparse, and there was no underlying strategy guiding what was published or why. The founders were stretched across operations and didn't have the bandwidth to build a cohesive content engine in-house.
The Approach I started with an audit of the existing feed and the competitive landscape, then built a brand-aligned content strategy anchored in three pillars: product storytelling, lifestyle-in-context, and behind-the-brand. From there, I developed a monthly content calendar mapped to seasonal launches, key shopping moments, and platform trends, giving the feed a rhythm without making it feel formulaic.
The visual direction shifted from flat product shots to editorial-style imagery and short-form video that placed pieces in real, aspirational settings. Every post was designed to feel like it belonged to the same world, so a first-time visitor could scroll the grid and immediately understand the brand.
