ONWARD — Editorial Magazine Web Concept

Onward is a digital magazine website concept that puts typography and editorial layout at the center of the experience. The project explores how a publication can feel premium and immersive in a browser, using type as the primary design tool.

Type-driven hierarchy. Headlines are oversized and expressive, creating visual anchors that pull readers into content. Body text is set for comfortable long-form reading with generous line height and measure.

Asymmetric editorial grid. The layout breaks away from standard web symmetry, using offset columns and varied image placements to create the rhythm of a printed magazine spread.

Whitespace as editorial tool. Generous spacing between sections creates breathing room and gives each piece of content its own stage, preventing the cluttered feel common in digital publications.
