This starts with the Title Impression and the Visual Image Perception.

Out of every 100 who reach to your headline and image, 80 won’t go beyond them. This leaves a very small window of just 20 readers who you must engage with confidence.

The Optimism of your Story Title and The Image are the first tools for initial visual and emotional connection with these 20 readers.
You must spark an initial impression within this limited audience and compel this crucial 20 to explore your story further.
Both the title and the image must be impactful and visually compelling, enhancing the visibility of your story to attract the maximum number of readers.
The Title and the Image set the reader’s expectation and perception to influence the action to read further.

Additionally, the title and the image must both convey the same vision and feelings and further ensure that the story that follows should perfectly resonate with this vision.

Here’s one of my stories in which the Title and the Visual Image complement each other perfectly. The Story also perfectly aligns with The Title and the Image.

Out of every 100 who reach to your headline and image, 80 won’t go beyond them. This leaves a very small window of just 20 readers who you must engage.

The scent of your Title and Image have appealed to 20 of the 100 readers to move through the second filter, convincing them that your story holds something of great value to them.
At this point, it is crucial that the opening of your story is powerful enough to spread the aroma of your writing to build enthusiasm and foster interest, captivating these 20 readers further,

It is heartbreaking to note that as this stage, even after reaching to your story, around 50%; 10 out of the 20 readers that have moved to this stage will bounce away even without reading further. Statistics works this way and nobody has control over it.

Therefore it is essential to craft an opening that builds excitement and interest and starts delivering on the promise of the title and the image.
As the readers scroll and gaze through the opening lines of the story, they start recognizing the value proposition within the story. As the fragrance of the story intensifies, the readers become eager to know more.
These initial lines and paragraphs are critical as they shape the essence and determine the flavor of your writing.
The opening thoughts should be attention-grabbing with elements such as
a surprising fact to build interest.
an intriguing question to spark curiosity.
an imaginary setting to draw readers within.
a disruptive opinion to challenge the status quo.
a discussion to encourage the varied exchange of ideas.
a reflective thought to stimulate emotional connection.

Craft an compelling opening, to bind the readers and motivate them to stay and explore further.

As the readers continue reading your story, they slowly start absorbing its contents and feeling the rhythmic pulse of your story.
Effective writing aims to captivate the reader with a smooth flow of ideas, that gradually echo the reader’s expectations.
The transitions between different writing sections should be clear and harmonious, keeping the reader interested from the start to the finish.
As the reader starts exploring the depth of the writing and experiencing the richness of the content, the appreciation of the story slowly starts building.
This story building should be steady and purposeful. This can be achieved with
a) Captivate Your Reader with Clarity of Thought. Keep your writing simple, and straightforward without creating confusion to affect the reader’s ability to grasp and understand.
Do not let your thoughts scatter in multiple directions breaking the tone of the content. This causes distraction and your story loses focus; and the reader’s interest.
Keep the story tuned to the relevance and focus of the subject narrative.
b) Showcase the Depth of Your Brilliance To Engage Your Reader. Will you read the same Hare and Tortoise story again and again? Does that mean that this story would never be told again?

Readers want novelty and originality.

Tell the same story but from a new perspective, a different background, and a unique approach.
Strike new chords in your writing to establish deep connections.
Develop your unique style of writing and expressing emotions, to stimulate sounds of freshness.
c) Immerse the Reader in a Seamless Reading vibrations.
Create structured paragraphs.
Break paragraphs into small sections.
Include easy-to-read font and size.
Use proper formatting with headings, and sub-headings.
Use lists and listicles to highlight key points.
Maintain an equilibrium in Tone and Style.
d) Communicate with Your Reader using Composed Language. The style and language of writing should align with the intended reader’s expectations.
Study and understand your audience to decide on the usage of appropriate tone, complexity, and robustness of the language.
Avoid using a complex vocabulary matrix that becomes difficult for the reader to decode.
Remember that writing is not about showcasing your language proficiency, but more about resonating your thoughts with the reader easily and without interruptions.

4. The Fourth Filter — Touch

Emotion and Feelings

A writer can connect instantly with a reader when the writing excels in touching the soul. When the reader finds an emotional connection in the words, thoughts, and emotions it creates a profound sense of attachment and immersion.
When the writing communicates beyond the power of words, it establishes a deep connection that transcends the boundaries of synergy, creating a harmonious warmth between the writer and the reader.
The emphasis in your writing serves to

inform with education, inspire with motivation, entertain with emotions, enlighten with knowledge.

As the words transform the reader’s experience and emotions take center stage, the reader is drawn into the quest for knowledge and understanding,
The touch in writing acts as a stimulus to trigger engagement, connection, and a long attachment.
Through feelings of trust, empathy, and authenticity radiating from the writing, a reader senses a commitment to establishing a genuine connection

5. The Fifth Filter — Taste

Content and Value

Press enter or click to view image in full size
The primary objective of your story’s content is to quench the reader’s thirst. The story can

convey a powerful message, present an enlightening perspective, build a strong personal opinion, offer a strategic solution, facilitate decisive action.

The reader will find your content valuable if

it changes, validates, or challenges their beliefs. it serves to liberate them from preconceived notions. it answers their questions, doubts, and queries convincingly. it enables them to learn new things, guiding them to move ahead.

Your Content is Valuable if the Time Invested by the Reader in it serves as a refreshing experience.

It is also important to note that your content is not valuable if

it has no focus and is confusing
it has no engaging structure and is boring
it is irrelevant, incomplete, or disconnected from reality.
it lacks direction, misguides the reader, and diminishes trust and credibility.

Writing is a medium of expression for an everlasting connection.

By understanding the various filters of this Personalized Writing Framework, a writer can develop a consistent framework for impactful writing by designing
