Hauzit is a startup in the real estate industry that aims to connect house owners with potential renters for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. As part of my responsibilities, I conducted research on the target customer persona and discovered that due to new intakes in universities, students aged between 16 and 30 are always in need of accommodation. To cater to this age group, I realized that the interface must be visually appealing while still solving the problem of renting residential apartments in Africa.
Therefore, I designed the website with a minimalist and modern approach, placing 3 questions right after the hero section to request information on "Where you'd want to be?", "What do you want?", and "How much do you have as a budget?".
This way, users will receive options within their budget and preferences.
If you continue reading further, you'll discover that Huzit offers services for BUYING, RENTING, and SELLING properties. Right after for indecisive customers unsure of their preferences, I provided a section to view snippets of properties that I believe will pique their interest, sorted out with a unique algorithm.
Overall, the website's design is of utmost importance in addressing the rental issue, and capture minimalist and modern design approach that is both visually appealing and functional.
