Agentic Watchdog — Automated Pipeline Monitoring and Recovery

The problem: Business owners repeat the same manual steps daily — checking sources, compiling updates, posting summaries — burning hours on work a script does in minutes.

What it demonstrates: A working automation that runs on a daily schedule: it gathers new items from configured sources, summarizes them, and posts a formatted update to a Slack channel — with duplicate prevention so nothing posts twice. Built with Google Apps Script; runs on Google's infrastructure, no servers to maintain.

What has been tested: The system has run daily in a staging environment since October 2026. Triggers fire on schedule; the Slack report posts correctly; the code forbids auto-sending or auto-publishing anything customer-facing. This is my own operational tooling, shown as a capability demonstration — not a client engagement.

What it does not do: It does not access your email (no Gmail scope); it does not modify your files without explicit authorization; it is not a plug-and-play product — every automation is scoped to the specific workflow.
