Alterna, working in sleep apnea care. Their patients needed a clear reason to try Oral Appliance Therapy.
The brief
A patient with sleep apnea needs to understand two things. What happens to the airway at night, and why a small device in the mouth can fix it.
What we made
A 2 minute 2D explainer that covers:
What sleep apnea is and how it blocks breathing during sleep
How a custom-made oral appliance moves the jaw forward and keeps the airway open
Where Oral Appliance Therapy stands, recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine as an alternative to CPAP
What patients report: no snoring, fewer breathing disturbances, high satisfaction
It ends on one plain line. The right treatment is the one you will actually use.
Why 2D
Clean line art on a side profile shows the tongue, the soft tissue and the airway at once. The viewer sees exactly where the blockage happens and exactly what the appliance changes.
