JJ participated in the 27th Surface Design Graduation Exhibition and presented her project, Cha. Cha, developed around the graduation exhibition’s central theme of Inner Peace, explores emotional stability and a private space for relaxation through tea. The artist views the act of drinking tea as a small ritual within daily life and seeks to expand this moment into a visual and tactile experience.

The project incorporates digitally refined versions of hand-dyed textile patterns, reconstructed for spatial application. The ceramics and lighting that form the space were also designed by the artist, following the same formal language. These elements serve functional roles while reinforcing the atmosphere of calm and contemplation that the work aims to evoke.

More than simply creating a physical environment, ChaChaCha translates the sensory and emotional experience of tea into visual form, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and experience a moment of inner balance away from daily life.
