This work is deeply personal. One of my earliest memories is of my great-grandmother raising silkworms. I studied textiles in Korea and silk has remained a central material in my practice. The cocoon, the wheel, the transformation—these elements are part of my own lineage. In Still, Life Goes On, I connect that memory with contemporary new media art, using sensors, motors, 3D printing, and real-time interaction to create a work that is both intimate and dynamic.
