Travel Channel
I worked with a UX and design team at Razorfish on a complete redesign of the Travel Channel website, which included a redesigned home page, show pages, search results and even detailed travel destination content, which aligned with and promoted some of Travel Channel’s shows, such as No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.
The new site design won Best Travel Website in the 2010 WebAward Competition.
Concept diagram for a destination landing page
I developed this early concept diagram for Travel Channel Destination landing page. These pages were utilized for cities, as well as countries and served to display both relevant travel information and to cross-promote related episodes from Travel Channel’s TV shows, such as Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.
The page also included links to additional relevant content to keep visitors engaged and browsing, as well as video clips and commenting functionality.
I also designed search results for the site, which highlighted Travel Channel’s shows in a unique way, suitable to their platform.
