Yes, the intern came up with that duo.
As a Copywriting Intern with Special Group US, I was asked to come up with over 200+ celebrity duos. Specifically, duos that weren’t old white men.
Confession—I relied on one white man to make up half the duo. Elton John was just too good to pass up. Paired with Lil Nas X, I came up with the most colorful duo Uber Eats has ever seen.
It worked.
Elton John & Lil Nas X were all anyone could talk about- whether they were in the industry or not.
