About the project --> Mango and Oak is a women owned business aimed at creating customized pet products that last your pets lifetime but still have a soft luxury feel about them. It was important that the website showcased the personalized colorful nature of the products and the versatility in being able to match your pet if you wanted.

My Mission

As a brand new company just starting out, I wanted to get Mango and Oak on a platform that allowed for growth and the easy integration of apps for things such as email lists, subscriptions, and waiting lists for new products.

It was important that it was showcased that the brand was meant for you and your pets. Showcasing products that were meant for various areas in your pets life along with matching options for you were important features I wanted to showcase.

With the pet product market having a lot of competition it was important to optimize the content that was published through the site. To do this I made sure to link social media sites (instagram, facebook, pinterest, and tik tok) to the website to keep people on the brands pages regardless of where they were. I utilized keyword research in each product listing and product photos and linked each to a social media site. In depth product descriptions were also added with keywords to increase site ranking.
