Python CSV Validation and Workflow Automation

I built an independent Python validation step that checks headers, duplicate IDs, missing values, row structure and decimal amounts before data reaches the next task. It returns accepted rows, explicit rejection reasons and a can_continue decision.

The repeatable 12-test suite covers quoted commas, multiline fields, BOM handling and invalid input. All 12 offline tests passed on September 19, 2026. The synthetic example accepts two rows and rejects two, so the next step is stopped for review.

Deliverables include Python source, tests, sample CSV and a structured example report. This is useful for CSV imports, spreadsheet cleanup and small automated workflows.
