CASE STUDY
Events are workflow systems disguised as calendars.
A serious student event moves through identity, registration, team formation, submissions, judging, scheduling, communication, check-in and post-event certification. Novarion is being built to keep those states connected instead of spreading them across forms, spreadsheets and messaging apps.
01 · Product model
Different users need different operating surfaces.
Participants need discovery, registration, teams and submissions. Organizers need event setup, approvals, schedules and communication. Judges need focused review workflows. Administration needs role-aware control over the whole system.
02 · Architecture
Modern web frontend with a dedicated API and relational data model.
Next.js and React drive the product experience, Fastify serves backend workflows, and Prisma with PostgreSQL/Neon handles structured event, identity and participation data.
03 · Product strategy
Build the event lifecycle as modular capabilities.
The platform is being developed in layers: authentication and profiles, event creation and registration, dashboards and communication, then teams, submissions, judging, leaderboards, QR check-in and certificates.

CURRENT STATE
A live product still under active development.
Novarion is not presented as a finished client delivery. It is an active MMBM product and startup bet, with its architecture and feature set continuing to evolve as the MVP is refined.
WHY IT MATTERS
It demonstrates product engineering, not just project delivery.
Unlike a fixed client scope, Novarion requires MMBM to make product decisions around user roles, modularity, data relationships, future workflows and long-term maintainability.
