Marc Davis is a Chicago DJ who began his illustrious career in the 1980s, experiencing firsthand the revolutions in sound that emanated from the Windy City. Growing up in this ground-breaking era on the South East Side, like many of the second wave of Chicago DJs, he was inspired to dig for records and take up the turntables after witnessing luminaries such as Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy at their majestic best. Studying these pioneers and masters of their craft showed Marc how a truly great DJ works a room. This foundation set him on a path that led to him become a globetrotting DJ, in-demand producer, revered record collector and respected label owner.
