Seamless Surface Pattern Design

Project Overview: A seamless pattern crafted to bring the wild and tranquil essence of the jungle to my mum’s garden wall. Inspired by the textures and life in tropical forests, this design creates a natural escape right at home. The project explores how a pattern can transform a space, making the garden feel like a hidden jungle oasis. From concept to creation, each element was developed to evoke the depth and mystery of the jungle, offering a unique visual experience.

When I told my mum that I couldn’t understand why one of my plants was thriving while the other was dying, even though I gave them the same care, she smiled and said:

‘You can’t expect every plant to grow the same just because you give them the same sunlight, water, and care. Plants are like us—they all have their unique needs to reach their full potential.’

Drawing inspiration from the tropical jungles, I started with simple sketches, crafting each element.

The process evolved as I refined the layout and colour palette, ensuring it captured the essence of nature. The final pattern brings a touch of the jungle to the garden wall.
