Evolve Delivery

Evolve Delivery is a user-centric app designed to streamline the order delivery process for drivers in Singapore. The app focuses on enhancing the efficiency and reliability of deliveries, offering intuitive navigation, real-time order tracking, and seamless communication between drivers and customers.

Delivery drivers in Singapore struggle with inefficient routes, poor communication, and order management issues. Evolve Delivery aims to solve these challenges by providing a user-friendly app that optimizes routes, enhances communication, and simplifies order handling.

Market research about Singaporean delivery drivers revealed key challenges, such as inefficient routing and communication issues. This research guided the design of an app that addresses these pain points effectively.

Wireframes were developed based on Alex Tan’s needs and pain points. These initial designs focused on optimizing route navigation, improving communication features, and streamlining order management to address the challenges identified during user research.

The design starts with an onboarding process, which features a simple OTP login, ensuring a quick and secure entry for drivers. The design prioritizes ease of use, with clear instructions and a minimalistic layout to streamline the login process.

The homepage is designed for clarity and efficiency, presenting key information such as upcoming tasks, current status, and essential tools at a glance. The layout is intuitive, allowing drivers to access important features quickly.

The task-tracking interface provides real-time navigation and step-by-step instructions for completing deliveries. It includes interactive maps for route optimization, progress indicators, and easy access to communication tools, enhancing the driver's ability to manage and execute tasks effectively.

A Dark Mode option was included to reduce eye strain during nighttime deliveries and to conserve battery life. The design maintains readability and clarity, with carefully chosen contrasts and color accents that ensure key information remains easily visible in low-light conditions.

Through the Evolve Delivery project, I gained a deeper understanding of the specific needs and pain points of delivery drivers in Singapore. By focusing on Alex Tan’s struggles with routing inefficiencies and communication challenges, I learned how critical it is to design solutions that address these practical issues directly. Ultimately, it demonstrated how targeted design improvements can significantly enhance both operational efficiency and driver satisfaction.
