KhataLens: Personal Finance and Expense Tracking Platform

The problem
Household spending is scattered across bank apps, UPI and cash, and shared between family members. The client wanted one place where a household can see who spent what, where the money goes, and how trips and investments fit alongside everyday expenses.
What we built
An MVP web platform for individuals and households.
Multi-member household accounts with per-person attribution
Monthly and daily cash-flow analytics
Category breakdowns and merchant-level insight
Trips tracked alongside everyday expenses
Investment tracking
Telegram bot integration, so receipts and transactions can be captured without opening the app

Tech stack
Next.js (App Router) and Tailwind CSS on the front end, NestJS on the back end, Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data, and the Telegram Bot API for capture.
Result
Delivered as a client MVP by Kloudfirst Nextgen Systems Private Limited. The screenshots come from a real account, so every name, merchant and amount is blurred.
