mknly procurement: Building a Dynamic, CMS-Driven Website for a Leading Procurement Firm

Client: mknly procurement
Designer: Rees Morgan
Development: Webflow & Relume Library
Project Focus: Custom CMS for streamlined content management

Project Overview

MKNLY Procurement, a premier procurement firm, approached Rees Morgan, a talented graphic and web designer based in Vancouver, for a complete redesign of their website. Rees, with whom I’ve collaborated on three projects, created a visually striking design, and I was responsible for developing the site using Webflow. The goal was to create a high-performing website that was easy to manage, scalable, and visually aligned with MKNLY’s brand.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was ensuring that the website would allow mknly to easily manage dynamic content such as blogs and projects without the need for extensive technical knowledge. It also needed to scale as the business grew and added more content.

The Solution

To meet these needs, I used Relume Library to build the website quickly and efficiently while ensuring it maintained a custom feel. I implemented a layered CMS structure to give mknly full control over their content. This included:
A project portfolio system that auto populates and dynamically links projects across various pages as they are added.
An integrated blog system, allowing the client to easily post updates and insights.
Scalable CMS fields for future growth, enabling the website to expand seamlessly as MKNLY adds more content.

Key Features:

Efficient Build with Relume Library: Leveraging the Relume Library for speed and precision, I was able to ensure the site was built to match Rees Morgan’s designs without compromising on performance or scalability.
Layered CMS: A complex yet user-friendly CMS system was created to ensure that MKNLY could manage their blog, projects, and other content with ease.
Dynamic Content Management: Pages were built to autopopulate with new content, creating an interconnected site structure that grows effortlessly as more projects and blog posts are added.

The Result

The redesigned website empowers MKNLY to manage their content efficiently while providing a visually compelling digital experience for their clients. The CMS setup ensures that they can easily update their portfolio and blog without needing to dive into code, giving them full autonomy over their website. The collaboration with Rees Morgan resulted in a visually stunning and high-performing website, further strengthening MKNLY’s digital presence.
