MetaPOS is a two-part point of sale system developed for WOPL (Pty) Ltd, designed to streamline retail operations through a combination of mobile and web-based technologies. The system consists of a mobile Android application for frontline sales and a web dashboard for administrative and analytical functions.

The mobile app, built for Android smartphones and POS devices (Speedpoints), allows retailers to record sales either manually or via barcode scanning—using redlight scanners or device cameras. The app also manages inventory, enabling businesses to monitor stock levels in real time and prevent overselling.

The web dashboard complements the mobile app by offering centralized control and visibility. Admin users can:

View and filter sales reports by region

Add or update inventory items

Track transactions across all connected devices

Together, the platform offers a robust ecosystem for small-to-medium retail businesses, enhancing operational transparency, data tracking, and day-to-day efficiency.
