The Client uses ServiceNow application for IT Service Management (ITSM) solution and provides scalable workflows to manage and deliver IT services to their internal and external users.This comprises of ServiceNow modules such as Incident management, problem management, change management, release management and request management
Responsibilities:
· Follow Agile (Scrum) methodology with 2 weeks sprinting and involve in pre-amigo and post-amigo meetings with BA and Developers to define and validate user story acceptance criteria’s
· Involved in preparing overall Test Plan, Test Strategy and Test Estimates
· Design, write, and manage hybrid automation framework using Selenium Web
driver, Python, Page Object Model, Pytest and Applitool (visual validation)
· Working as a Automation Engineer, coordinating with my India
team and supporting monthly project and production support releases
· Automated 800+ regression test scripts for all ServiceNow Modules such as Incident
management. Release management, problem management, change management etc so
far while continuously working on prioritizing and automating remaining backlog
functionalities
· Implemented locator changes for Shadow DOM objects part of new UI changes in latest ServiceNow application
· Follow N-1 automation approach for functional and regression automation and fixing automation scripts.
· Perform impact based regression execution while maintaining and optimizing existing test scripts to handle changes in the objects, in the ServiceNow GUI across testing environments
· Create automated tests using SeleniumWebDriver for Continuous regression testing using Jenkins to reduce manual effort and time
· Use Octane as a project tracking tool/Defect tracking/Test case Management tool
· Run regression tests in the morning/night based on deployment timings and produce reports/metrics and reach out to tech leads in case of any queries or failure in tests
