MedicOn

During this COVID pandemic healthcare is a major concern to people across the world, but most of them can't afford it, to overcome this problem we introduce you to "MedicOn".

When a user logins in as a patient he will be fed with a list of doctors from different departments. Once the patient chooses the doctor he can review the doctor's profile and check the number of patients waiting and book an appointment with him. Once the patient books an appointment, a call with the patient's details will be fed to the screen of the doctor where he can either accept the call of the patient or schedule it. When the doctor accepts the patient's call, the doctor and the patient will be put in a meeting room. Once the doctor consults the patient, the doctor will have to scan and send a prescription to the patient through our app which will then be fed to the patient's screen along with the name of the doctor and the time he consulted the patient

We built this app with flutter as our frontend and firebase as our backend

Connecting the doctor and the patient in the same meeting room was a bit hard to accomplish and finally figured out a way to solve the issue. Moreover, we had a tough time displaying the appointments of the doctor. Letting the doctor schedule the call from the patient was another problem we tackled. Managing time and completing the project on time was challenging yet thrilling.

--> Since I had to work with video conferencing I learned a lot about WebRTC

--> Adding a feature to rate patients which will prevent spammers
