Nikolas fed us for years, at the "tsipouradiko" where he worked, in Corfu, Greece until he decided to move to the other side of Europe, to the UK. There, he now works at his own food truck, the Papas Locas Food Truck, which serves street food recipes with fries, as well as Canadian poutine!

Nikolas and Anthi initially approached us two years ago to dress one side of their food truck. But this year we had the opportunity to wrap the whole truck and at the same time unify and improve their visual identity as a business and create a brand!

There were several challenges, since diverse elements had to be included, such as their logo "Blue" (their dog), their chosen aesthetic (arcade games) but we also had to handle specific difficulties related to colour, decorative elements, etc.

We combined the arcade aesthetics with the logo, by converting the logo to 8bit (pixelated) in order to match. We decided to replace the original black background (which we no longer wanted as it looks dirty in the UK weather) with different tones of blue and pixelated effects. It still matches the old arcade style and also makes the truck more visible!

The different elements of the arcade games moved subtly in the background (like easter eggs for the customers to find) while the 8bit food elements remain in front in striking colours.

At the same time, the fonts were replaced in order to match the old arcade games aesthetics. The main product is not visible in the front: "Poutine & Loaded Fries".
