PROJECT
North Jersey Wound Care — a medical clinic specializing in chronic wound treatment.
The team came to us with a clear problem: organic traffic had dropped by nearly 40%, and the site stopped growing in Google.
A redesign wasn’t needed — what the website required was a precise SEO intervention: audit → fixes → technical optimization.

The initial audit revealed several critical issues that were holding back visibility and rankings:
The site was partially blocked from indexing (WordPress “Discourage search engines” option was enabled)
No valid sitemap.xml or proper robots.txt
Duplicate Title and Meta Description tags across pages
Broken heading structure (multiple H1s, missing H2–H3 hierarchy)

Images had no ALT-tags and were not compressed
SEO plugin installed, but not configured — meta tags were added manually and inconsistently
In short: the site looked fine for users, but for search engines it was an unstructured data set with no semantic logic.
SOLUTION
We performed a full SEO audit and implemented manual optimization — within WordPress + Elementor, without touching the design.
Optimized and compressed all images, added ~40 priority ALT tags
Cleaned up URL slugs and added missing canonical tags
Delivered a semantic keyword list + content strategy recommendations for future growth
etc.

3 weeks after implementation:
Google re-crawled the website with zero indexing errors
Indexing speed increased by 2.3x
Local keyword ranking (“wound care north jersey”) improved from #18 → #9
Organic traffic grew by +32% — without backlinks and without paid ads
Most importantly: the site is now “readable” for search engines and ready for long-term SEO scaling.
