Spec: Spotify DJ Feature – Animated Concept Video

This animated concept video reimagines how Spotify could showcase its AI-powered DJ feature. The goal was to capture the energy of the product while making it instantly understandable to viewers.

We built the video entirely in motion graphics, leaning on bold typography, kinetic animation, and layered transitions to mirror the dynamic feel of live DJ mixing. The visuals shift and pulse with the rhythm, using color, motion, and sound design to emulate the experience of a DJ guiding your listening journey.

Rather than focusing on abstract hype, we designed the animation to walk the viewer through the core product benefit — a personalized, evolving listening experience guided by AI. By animating the product interface and combining it with expressive motion, the video communicates both functionality and vibe in a way static product shots can’t achieve.
