This project features the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa with a creative twist: the tower’s top section revolves and then seamlessly aligns with its base. The animation serves as a captivating focal point, drawing visitors into the website and enhancing their overall user experience.

Project Objectives:
Design a 3D Model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa: Create an accurate and detailed 3D model of the Pisa Tower that maintains the iconic architectural features.
Animate the Tower's Top Section: Design a revolving animation of the tower's top section that smoothly aligns with its base, symbolizing a balance between tradition and innovation.
Enhance Landing Page Engagement: Use the 3D animation as an interactive element on the tourism website to captivate visitors and encourage exploration.
Process and Workflow:
Research and Conceptualization:
Studied the architectural details and historical significance of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Conceptualized an animation that would add a unique and creative element to the website while respecting the integrity of the monument.
3D Modeling in Spline:
Developed a highly detailed 3D model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa using Spline.
Focused on accurately replicating the tower’s tilt and intricate architectural details to ensure authenticity.
Animation Design:
Animated the top section of the tower to revolve in a smooth, controlled motion.
Carefully timed the animation so that the revolving top aligns perfectly with the base, creating a visually satisfying effect.
Integration into Figma:
Embedded the 3D animation into Figma for collaboration and presentation.
Worked closely with the design team to ensure the animation complemented the website’s aesthetic and enhanced user interaction.
The 3D animation of the Pisa Tower successfully achieved its goal of enhancing the tourism website's landing page. The revolving top section of the tower provided a unique and engaging visual element that captured visitors' attention and encouraged them to explore further. This project demonstrates my ability to combine creativity with technical skill, resulting in a memorable and effective digital experience.
Reflection:
This project was an exciting opportunity to blend my passion for 3D animation with my interest in cultural and historical landmarks. It challenged me to think outside the box and create something that was not only visually stunning but also meaningful in its execution. The positive feedback from the client and website visitors reaffirmed my belief in the power of creative design to transform digital experiences.
