This project involved creating a high-quality commercial for CarShield, a leading provider of vehicle service plans in the United States. The commercial was designed to inform potential customers about the benefits of CarShield’s protection plans, highlight its affordability, and build trust with the audience through compelling storytelling and visuals.

As the video editor for the CarShield commercial, my primary responsibilities included:

Pre-Production Collaboration: Worked with the creative team, director, and CarShield representatives to understand the commercial’s goals, target audience, and key messaging points.

Footage Review and Selection: Reviewed raw footage from the shoot, selecting the most engaging and visually appealing shots to craft the narrative effectively.

Storytelling Through Editing: Edited the footage into a cohesive, impactful commercial that clearly communicated CarShield’s value proposition while maintaining a professional and approachable tone.

Motion Graphics and Text Integration: Incorporated branded text overlays and motion graphics to emphasize key selling points, such as coverage options, savings, and 24/7 customer support.

Audio Design and Synchronization: Synced voiceovers, on-screen dialogue, and a carefully chosen soundtrack to create an engaging and polished final product.

Client Feedback Integration: Conducted multiple rounds of edits based on feedback from CarShield’s team to ensure the commercial met their standards and effectively delivered the intended message.

Understanding the Brand: Familiarized myself with CarShield’s branding guidelines, tone, and target demographic to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
