Translate Velvet Army’s contrast between softness and strength into a complete digital experience for its jewelry.
MY ROLE
Website design, front-end development, creative direction, and AI-assisted visual production. The jewelry designs, logos, and original product references belong to Velvet Army.
THE DIRECTION
The Monochrome Issue became the lead direction: a red masthead, monochrome portraits, selective gold accents, and an editorial sequence that leads visitors into the collection. I also built Terra, a warmer clay-and-burgundy concept, and a quieter coastal direction using cream, olive, and water.
FROM DESIGN TO A WORKING EXPERIENCE
I implemented responsive layouts, image treatment, and collection navigation. The alternate concepts include category filters, product dialogs, locally saved pieces, keyboard interaction, and reduced-motion support. Desktop and mobile compositions were reviewed separately.
THE RESULT
A connected body of website work that carries visual decisions into functioning interfaces. The accompanying video uses real browser captures inside an illustrated device frame.
The linked concepts are design previews with no live checkout. Campaign imagery uses AI-generated material and fictional models; fine product details may vary from the references.
