House of the Dragon - Official Microsites

Droplab built 3 feature sites to artfully guide fans through the rich and complex world of House Targaryen set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. All three sites were built on top of a custom data pipeline that allowed turnkey time locked content updates to be done from various stakeholders with built in safeguards to prevent any episodic content to be published prior to it's episode airing. A 2023 Clio, Webby, and Promax Award Winner.

Character Guide was a WebGL family tree of all characters in the show and their relationships revealed on a per episode basis. Each character was clickable with their own full detail page showcasing photos, clothing, weapons, dragons and relationships.

Map of Westeros was a 3d/WebGL map of Westeros featuring dynamically rendered points of interest, parallax clouds, drag panning and an animated 3d dragon to show cities, castles, and points of interest revealed on a per episode basis. Each location was clickable with a full detail page showcasing additional information, photos, and videos.

Dragon Index was a guide showcasing all the dragons in the show, revealed on a per episode basis. Each dragon was clickable with a full detail page showcasing additional information, photos and videos.
