I recently produced a full cinematic short film for Bogtrotter Whiskey, crafted to feel like a warm evening inside a classic Irish pub. The film centers around Seamus, a lovable old regular, sharing a heartfelt—and slightly humorous—moment with the bartender as they taste the latest Bogtrotter batch.

From the first frame, the goal was to bring out the soul of Irish storytelling: cozy, emotional, and soaked in character.

To build a film that felt genuinely alive, I had to balance:

Authentic pub atmosphere with warm, golden lighting

Consistent character design across multiple AI tools

Cinematic pacing that pulls viewers into the story

Using a mix of advanced tools—Google Nano Banana, MidJourney, and Google Veo—I designed each scene to look cohesive and film-ready. Every detail mattered: how Seamus’ face shifted in the light, how the bartender leaned in, and even how the bottle sat in the frame to ensure the product always felt like the hero.

To achieve a polished, premium look:

Premiere Pro & After Effects for color grading, pacing, sound design, and final polish

Manual refinement of lighting, framing, and transitions to ensure the whiskey bottle remained the visual anchor of every key shot

This workflow allowed me to merge emotional storytelling with smooth, natural animation—no uncanny valley, no jarring frame transitions.
