Ahead of the release of Blue Bite’s new feature, Blue Bite Connect, the team asked for a fully animated explainer video. Matt was provided a storyboard script and the following creative direction: branded colors, simple and friendly animations, and a feel similar to a recently published explainer video in the industry. Matt went to work and produced the following video (animation, video editing, and sound editing) within the two-week timeline provided.

This video combines animation, video, voiceover, and audio to explain every aspect of Blue Bite Connect while highlighting features ranging from basic to premium offerings. Keep a lookout for unique and engaging transitions that keep the viewer engaged in the video in its entirety as well as fun eye-catching text animations.

When a video is animated and edited for platforms like YouTube, the final product is typically in an aspect ratio of 16x9. Matt recreated the video in 9x16 to fit the dimensions of TikTok and Instagram. Additionally, care was taken to ensure that all onscreen text wouldn’t overlap with the buttons or text in each social media platform (such as heart buttons and follow buttons). The video was also broken up into digestible takeaways for additional posts to draw out the launch of the campaign.

One of the unique features of LinkedIn is that a company can include GIFs in their social posts. Here is an example of one such GIF that was created for the Blue Bite marketing team to post on LinkedIn for the launch of Blue Bite Connect. The animation was adjusted to the 1.91:1 aspect ratio for LinkedIn and then converted to a GIF.
