A comprehensive survey and reporting to assess the effectiveness of micro drip irrigation in improving farming practices through the Jharkhand Horticulture Intensification by Micro Drip Irrigation (JHIMDI) project. Project financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and implemented by JSLPS, aims to enhance horticulture farming through micro drip irrigation techniques.
The survey's primary objective was to assess productivity, farming practices and income enhancement by implementing micro drip irrigation techniques in intensifying horticulture farming and improve farmers' livelihood. The survey collected data on socio-economic profile, crop yield, and income generation.
The survey results offer valuable insights into the project's effectiveness, including improvements in crop yield and income generation through micro drip irrigation techniques.
I managed the whole data collection process, including the selection and training of surveyors. I also designed the survey report.
