Over the past 3 years, I've been fortunate to manage, build and create the online social image of Doudoubake: a local, artisanal bakery in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, whilst brewing coffee and providing hospitality. This blissful hands-on experience allowed me to write and photograph content that has a more comprehensive point of view and content with a grasp and grip of the actual activities in the bakery.

The content direction of Doudoubake aims at a heartfelt and meaningful sharing of the vision of the bakery to its community.

This vision encompasses the lifestyle of the staff, local ingredients purposefully sourced to be used in the bakes, the beauty of slow fermentation in sourdough, natural wines and to present the beauty of the well-designed landscape, branding and interior of the bakery.

The writing is anti-trend and heavily directs on an honest expression of the product/event/subject to the reader, using words that give personality and invoke imagery as its read. My goal was/is to describe and convey the most honest expression to the reader in a the most beautiful way, making it memorable, fun and to hook them into the words.
