Ginger Ginger is not your typical sushi bar; it's a unique brand with a fresh approach. They've taken the traditional sushi concept and added a playful twist, inspired by a cat's longing for sushi it can't reach.
Ginger Ginger is all about offering something different and exciting, creating a warm and welcoming space where friends can gather, enjoy great food, and make lasting memories together.
Project
Ginger ginger - sushi bar in London.
Challenges
Stand out from the typical traditional Japanese aesthetic or the kawaii look commonly used in sushi shops, especially in a bustling big city with a lot of restaurants.
Solution
We imagine a playful cat with dreams of sushi it can't quite reach. This inspiration drove us to create a brand design featuring this mascot, aiming to attract a new audience and make a noticeable, memorable impression.
The moodboard shows a cozy and fun vibe, designed for people in their early adulthood who enjoy comfort but aren't necessarily fans of Japan. The goal is to make a place where customers feel happy, unique, and creatively inspired while they dine, with the adorable orange cat as the main focus.
