NFTarot

NFTarot is a decentralized web app that merges the spiritual practice of tarot with the world of web3. It is the brainchild of creative director and new media artist Tara Moves, who I teamed up with in June 2024. It was created and submitted for the 2024 Onchain Summer Buildathon, a web3 hackathon run by Base, with a prize pool of over 200ETH and the goal of onboarding more users to web3. I was the lead engineer and project manager for our team.

Create an engaging app with a seamless user experience.

Build quickly and efficiently, break down tasks by priority and delegate according to each person's strengths.

Integrate crypto wallets and minting for NFTs.

Make the app responsive and accessible, to reach as many users as possible.

Conducted research on the buildathon track requirements and conventions in the web3 space.

Started with initial UI designs and consulted regarding user experience.

Created a Trello board as a central hub to track and assign tasks.

Consulted with a web3 engineer and a backend engineer during the building process to set up the database and integrate wallet connection and minting.

Continued to iterate and test user experience, adding responsiveness and improving features.

NFTarot was launched and within the first week of promo had over 700 unique minters. The NFTarot project is ongoing. Visit here.
