Project overview:
A client who does relocation services had a custom-developed wordpress website and ASP.NET custom back-end portal for client management and services. Unfortunately their current web development company went bankrupt and left them with non-functional components to their website which was hampering business operations.
I fixed these issues and updated the website to work for the client as needed, allowing them to use the functionality as required.
Deliverable Items:
I recently completed a website fix project for a client whose website was experiencing several issues, including form errors, user creation errors, design problems, and login problems. I worked diligently to identify and resolve these issues, and I am pleased to present the following deliverables:
Bug Report - I conducted a thorough review of the website and identified several issues that were impacting user experience. I documented each issue in a detailed bug report, which included step-by-step instructions for reproducing the issues and suggestions for potential solutions.
Fix Plan - Based on the issues identified in the bug report, I developed a comprehensive fix plan that outlined the specific steps required to address each issue. This plan included timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies that needed to be addressed before fixes could be implemented.
Design Updates - I updated the website's design to resolve any layout, color scheme, typography, or other visual elements that were causing issues. These changes were documented in a design update document for reference.
Code Updates - I made code updates to address issues with the website's C# and ASP.NET code, as well as any configuration changes required on the Azure platform. These changes were documented in a code update document.
Testing Plan - Before the fixes were deployed, I developed a comprehensive testing plan that included test cases, expected results, and any test data required. This ensured that the fixes were implemented correctly and that the website was functioning as expected.
User Documentation - I created updated help pages, tutorials, and FAQs to explain any changes to the website's user interface or functionality. These updates were documented in user documentation for future reference.
Deployment Plan - Once the fixes had been implemented and tested, I developed a deployment plan to deploy the updated website to the Azure platform. This plan included timelines, resource requirements, and any dependencies that needed to be addressed before deployment could take place.
Post-Deployment Support Plan - To ensure that any issues or problems that arose after deployment were addressed promptly, I developed a post-deployment support plan. This plan included contact information for support personnel, escalation procedures, and any other information required to provide support to users.
Overall, I worked diligently to identify and address the issues that were impacting my client's website. I am proud of the work I accomplished, and I believe that the deliverables I provided will be useful for my client in the future.
