Project Overview
The Field Service Module is interconnected with the Sales and Inventory Modules, ensuring that each sale order is automatically linked to a work order or generates a new one if none exists.
This automation extends to the checkout process, embedding custom fields directly into sale orders for precise tracking.
A Material Usage and Sales Order table dynamically updates product reservations, dispensed quantities, and stock levels, while a Reels Dashboard offers real-time tracking of cable reel usage, stock calculations, and related work orders.
Additionally, the Inventory Module facilitates bulk product, warehouse, and category imports using a validated CSV system, minimizing data inconsistencies and ensuring accurate stock management.
To improve warehouse efficiency, the Barcode Module supports multiple barcodes per product, enabling seamless updates and accurate tracking across purchasing and sales workflows.
Security has been strengthened through Microsoft Azure AD integration, allowing single sign-on (SSO) authentication and role synchronization with Odoo’s permission framework.
The delivery process has been optimized with digital signature functionality, ensuring that all order receipts capture signee details, timestamps, and verification records directly within Odoo.
