The Second City
The Second City Chicago is one of the most influential and prolific comedy theatres in the world.
In 2019, I completed the Comedy Studies training program, an intensive semester at Second City consisting of classes in improvisation, scriptwriting, and the history of comedy. Guided by comedic experts, my cohort wrote, directed, and performed in a showcase at the end of the semester on one of the main stages at Second City.
Our showcase was called “Ereptile Dysfunction”, inspired by an absurdist sketch I wrote for the showcase titled Lizard. That sketch can be found here:
