I developed Rippleffexs, a speculative organisation addressing marine pollution and loneliness. Research identified Manly Cove, Dee Why, and Watsons Bay as some of Sydney’s most polluted beaches, with Manly Cove averaging 4,051 microplastics per square metre, alongside a growing loneliness crisis affecting public health. In response, Rippleffexs hosts free creative, social, and environmental events for people aged 18+ across Sydney. I developed the brand identity and communication system, including A4 posters and social media content. Events include DJ-led beach clean-ups, eco-markets, outdoor ocean film screenings, and biomaterial workshops, designed to encourage social connection while promoting environmental action.
