Octocare is a health-tech SaaS platform designed to enhance the telemedicine experience for doctors and patients while optimizing hospital workflows. It comprises multiple modules that address persistent digital challenges in healthcare, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
As a product designer on the Octocare project, I collaborated with my colleague Damilola Bamgbelu to simplify complex interactions and create an intuitive user experience. Our focus was on enhancing usability and engagement by refining key processes such as patient onboarding, invoice processing for HMOs and private accounts, and payer management with standardized payment structures.
One of the most exciting yet challenging aspects of this project was designing features that catered to multiple user groups, including the billing office, front desk (CRM), pharmacy, emergency department, radiology, and more. To achieve this, we dedicated significant time to refining workflows, ensuring a seamless experience across departments with well-structured UI and UX solutions.
