Cosplay & Light Painting

Cosplay photography from Katsucon, ComicCon, and private sessions. Each shoot is a collaboration — I work with the cosplayer to find the right location, lighting, and pose to match the character's energy. No two shoots look the same.

I use a mix of natural light, off-camera flash, and light painting techniques to create images that feel cinematic without being overproduced. The goal is always to make the character feel real in the frame.

Conventions are fast-paced and unpredictable. I scout locations ahead of time and work quickly between crowds to get clean, intentional shots.

Private shoots give more control over environment and lighting. I use these sessions to experiment with longer exposures, light painting, and more deliberate compositions.
