This project was for The Epiphany Project, a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on community empowerment, advocacy, and social impact. They work to provide essential resources, programs, and support to the communities they serve.
The Brief & Project Needs
The nonprofit's existing website was functional but lacked an organized content hierarchy, making it difficult for visitors to quickly understand their core programs or find specific team details. They needed a series of strategic website edits and structural updates. The core requirement was to design and implement a brand-new, dedicated "Team" page to showcase their leadership, build community trust, and highlight the people driving the organization's mission forward.
Process & Content Structure
Layout Approach: I approached the layout with a heavy focus on clarity and human connection. For the new team page, I structured the content using an organized, balanced grid that paired high-quality headshots with clean, readable bio cards.
Content Hierarchy: I structured the page navigation so that the organization's leadership, staff, and volunteers were categorized intuitively. This ensured that donors, partners, and community members could seamlessly find and connect with the right team members without hitting any visual friction.

Design Decisions & Visual Direction
The visual direction focused on warmth, transparency, and professionalism. I maintained the nonprofit's existing brand identity while cleaning up the white space and alignment to give the layout a modern, trustworthy feel.
Balancing Mission with Usability: Nonprofits require a delicate balance between storytelling and straightforward utility. I achieved this by keeping the design minimal and accessible, ensuring that the inspiring human element of the team was the focal point, while keeping navigation links and contact elements highly usable and prominent.
Figma: Used for initial asset layout, wireframing the new team section grid, and testing the visual hierarchy of the text blocks.
Wix: Utilized to execute the live website edits and build out the responsive structures, ensuring the new content looked completely seamless and loaded beautifully across mobile and desktop devices.
Outcome & Impact
The client was thrilled with the results. The updates gave the organization a much more polished, cohesive, and professional online presence. Beyond the successful design implementation, the streamlined collaboration and successful delivery allowed for an incredibly smooth project wrap-up. The new team page immediately elevated their credibility, making the organization feel far more accessible and welcoming to new community partners and donors.
