About the Brand

Elpusfly is a modern airline brand that stands for seamless travel, innovation, and trust. The name was crafted to blend uniqueness with fluidity, reflecting a brand that’s reliable and always aiming to elevate the travel experience. Serving both business and leisure travelers. Elpusfly aims to connect people across Africa and beyond with safe, affordable, and convenient air travel.

Project Overview

Elpusfly approached me to create a complete brand identity that communicates their core values, reliability, innovation, and exceptional customer service, while appealing to a diverse audience of travelers. The goal was to develop a fresh, iconic modern look that could be easily applied across various touchpoints, including digital platforms, signage, uniforms, and marketing materials.

Approach & Process

Understanding the Brand and Market: I began by deeply understanding Elpusfly’s vision to create an airline that embodies seamless travel, innovation, and trust. Research on the airline industry, especially African markets, helped me identify key expectations from travelers and gaps in competitor branding. This ensured the design would stand out and resonate with the target audience.
Defining the Brand Identity Elements: Based on the insights, I crafted a logo that represents movement and fluidity, symbolizing the effortless travel experience Elpusfly promises. The name’s uniqueness influenced the design to feel modern but approachable, balancing professionalism with warmth.
Color Palette and Typography Selection: To evoke trust and reliability, I chose a calming, confident color palette. Typography was carefully picked for clarity and readability across digital and physical applications, reinforcing the brand’s modern yet dependable personality.
Visual Applications and Consistency: Next, I developed brand applications including digital ticket (website, app), airplane livery, staff apparel, and marketing materials. The goal was to maintain consistency and versatility, so the brand message remains strong no matter where it appears.
Collaboration and Iteration: Throughout the process, I maintained open communication with the client, sharing progress and gathering feedback. This iterative process ensured the final design aligned perfectly with their goals and expectations.

Result

The final brand identity positioned Elpusfly as a forward-thinking airline rooted in trust, innovation, and customer experience. The logo and visual system received strong internal approval and were praised for their balance of professionalism and modern appeal.
The branding was easily applied across both digital and physical platforms, website, social media, uniforms, boarding passes, and aircraft decals, creating a seamless and consistent experience.
Since launch, the brand has helped Elpusfly gain early traction and recognition in a competitive market. Most importantly, it provided the team with a clear, confident identity they’re proud to build on as they grow their presence across Africa and beyond.
