SpendHer – MVP Mobile App Design & Development

Overview SpendHer is a mobile-first subscription-based platform designed to empower creators by enabling direct, paid communication with their audience through voice calls, video chats, and in-app messaging. Whether offering mentorship, tutoring, or casual conversation, creators can monetize their time while customers enjoy authentic, one-on-one access.

I led the full design and development of the MVP build over 4 weeks, delivering a fully functional mobile app with core monetization features, real-time communication, and secure user flows, all optimized for a public launch in late August.

Voice, Video & Messaging: Seamless one-on-one communication flows between creators and customers using real-time technologies

Subscription Access: Monthly subscriptions unlock access to creators’ services, content, and availability

Dual-Purpose Payment System (Stripe): Integrated Stripe for both customer payments and creator payouts, including secure account linking and payment scheduling

Creator Dashboard: Allows creators to manage services, bookings, subscriptions, and earnings on the go

Realtime Notifications & Alerts: Live updates for messages, calls, and account activity

Screenshot Protection: Additional privacy layer during voice and video sessions

Payout & Subscription Systems: Full implementation of monetization features, including subscription management and earnings tracking

Launch-Ready Infrastructure: Scalable backend, secure data handling, and high-retention UX

Timeline & Outcome Development began on June 16, and the MVP was delivered by mid-July. With all core communication and monetization features in place, SpendHer is currently in pre-launch testing with a target public release in late August.
